ECHOSYSTEM's MENTORSHIP PROGRAMMES are a rare, highly personal offering from two artists whose practices span decades, continents, and sonic worlds. What you are entering is not a curriculum. It is a living exchange. One that holds space for your work, your questions, and your creative identity.
MENTORSHIP WITH UJI
THE YEAR-LONG PROGRAMME
Uji opens a passage between worlds — ancestral and electronic, mythic and contemporary, rooted and in motion.
As the composer and ethnomusicologist behind TIMEBEING, and the former half of electronic folk duo Lulacruza, Uji has spent over two decades asking what sound carries that words cannot. His year-long mentorship is an invitation into that same space of inquiry — oriented entirely around you.
This is not a production course. It is not a masterclass in technique.
It is a year-long 1-on-1 process of artistic discovery: your creative lineage, your sonic identity, the questions only your music can answer. The programme can also serve as an introduction to Uji's creative process — how he moves from deep listening and ancestral research into composition, production, and conceptual storytelling.

MENTORSHIP WITH LOLA VILLA
THE YEAR-LONG PROGRAMME
Lola Villa opens a door to a practice built at the crossing of electronic music production, sound healing, and ecological consciousness — rooted in Bogotá, formed by the Amazon, alive today in Mexico City.
Over 20 years as a composer, DJ, visual artist, and sound journey facilitator, Lola has developed a practice that is simultaneously personal and planetary. Music, for her, is not separate from the world it moves through. Sound is medicine. Sound is memory. Sound is mycelium — an invisible network connecting everything that matters beneath the surface.
Her year-long mentorship is a 1-on-1 process of artistic and human transformation. There is no curriculum. There is a conversation — one that grows at the pace of your growth, moves with what you are making, and holds space for the full complexity of what it means to create. It can serve as an introduction to her process: how she moves from deep listening into composition, from personal story into collective experience, from sound into ceremony. Or it can simply be what you need it to be.
